Attila Adam — composing as Adamatys — is a Hungarian composer for film, television, documentary, advertising and trailer music. His work has reached audiences worldwide through placements on flagship broadcaster productions including BBC's The Wonders of the Sun with Dara Ó Briain, Ancient Powers and Deadly 60, the Netflix sports docuseries Sunderland 'Til I Die, and programming for ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Viasat Explorer and Viasat History.
A PRS for Music member with a three-year working relationship with leading music libraries The Nerve, Atom Music Audio and Gargantuan Music, Attila has built a catalogue spanning cinematic orchestral writing, hybrid electronic textures, ambient and atmospheric beds, modern percussive trailer cues, and intimate acoustic scoring. The unifying thread across genres is melody-led emotional storytelling and a strong sense of dramatic arc.
Attila trained at the University of Pécs, Faculty of Music and Visual Arts (Institute of Design and Media Arts — Musicology and Electronic Music Media Arts), with earlier formal piano studies at the Ádám Jenő Music School. He composes from a private studio that pairs analogue outboard processing with a Cubase production environment, allowing for both fully in-the-box hybrid scores and richer, character-led acoustic textures.
He is currently taking on custom scoring projects for filmmakers, production companies, broadcasters and advertising agencies across the UK and the European Union. For project enquiries, briefs or showreel materials, please get in touch.
